Thinking of trailering out to the East End and leaving it for a week.
Are there any other Apache's on LI?

I actually live in Glen Head...5 minutes from Tom amd maybe 10 from you !
I have a house in Westhampton so that's where we've spent the Summers boating...
I think there's a 36 that runs out of LaMotta's and somebody told me there's another 41 someplace west.
Let me know when you're coming east...we'll steer you in the right direction and if I come west...I'll let you know !

Wes,
If you take care of the engines, they should give you alot more than 100-150 hrs. I'm hoping for around 400 out of my 950's, but I am a stickler for maintainance and don't run hard. I just love cruising around at 60 mph. Again, congrats on the new boat.

Re: KAGEMAN has a new home !!!!!
hmmmmm, sorry to gatecrash this discussion about what is a seriously cool boat but I see Robert likes getting hundreds of hours out of his engines, likes cruising at 60 and obviously likes to have a bit of a wave-crusher as he has an apache... so my question is:
WHY NOT GET A DIESEL BOAT?

Congrats Wes,
That is definatly an awsome looking boat. Can not wait to see it. If you are cruisig around out east this weekend come say hello. I will be in Shelter Island this weekend on Sat. Stop by in Dering HArbor and show off the new toy. I am sure the foofy people at the Shelter Island yacht club will love your Apache and Sean's Cig hanging round the yacht club.

I'm pretty much a stickler as well so I do expect to do more than 150...
I don't run as hard as some of the guys who have had to rebuild at 150 so I'm probably somewhere in between.
Thanks again for your help !
