Our fishing boat was financed through Bank of the West. My brother financed the Apache project.

Bank of the West. Second time, both times best rate/term available anywhere. No problems with them whatsoever. Offer a payment holiday once a year also.

Had a short term loan with State Farm 5 yrs. yes.... State Farm my insurance CO. if your score is good enough they will finance anything you need house - cars - toys you name it.

It lowered my insurance rate big time, kept the loan for 1 year then paid it off... Boats should be paid for never financed... I agree dont finanance your hobby's.
