You SEVERELY limit your resale market when you buy triples. I would go for a twin stager and hop up the motors to go faster. Better yet, pull out the stock power and save it for resale, and build some new power.

Why do you think the triple is not the way to go with that package? Fountain pushes the staggered package thats for sure. I have a 42 staggered with 525's and it takes a mile to get to 82 even though the factory test sheet says 86. Just not overly impressed with top end and mid range punch. I prefer Mercury power and as you know the 575s are about to be discontinued and the power after that is 1075's and I would have to go to 6's. Thats out of my league. What would you suggest for power?

Nows thats not a bad idea. My dealer is so against us upping the existing setup because of resale ie. (whipples). But pull and keep the engines for resale time and put in some new power is something I did not consider.

Thanks for that idea
