Dave take the fast ferry out of Hyannis. I ussually fly out it only take 15 min in a plane but the boat ride is good to let ya know you are on vacation. There are LOTS of good places to eat but BRING A LOT OF MONEY. The place is SUPER expensive even in the winter. Plan on dropping some money down there. If you take the Hyline make reservations. Steam Ship Authority boats SUCK. The SteamShips fast boat is the Flying Cloud but it breaks down all the time so we call it the black cloud :D. :Parking at the Hyline is I think 5 bucks and the airport is the same off season (don't think that they bump in in the weekends). Were the Hyline goes in there are a few bars. Capt. Tobies, Straite Warf (ussually some good tail in there :D). There is a place at the end of the warf that makes KILLER calamari!!! The Chicken box ussually goes off as well. Ask anyone around they will have LOTS of suggestions. It is as I said dead in the winter. There was not even a single jet on the runway this week, and all the mega yachts are gone. Winter is hear :( Unfortunatly I will be out the weekend before that :(

One last thing. The single chicks out there are looking for MONEY, so just tell them that you are a Rich dude and you race offshore power boats and sleep with super models. Get them drunk enough and they will believe anything :D:D

if you are looking for the stuffy martini crowd hit the pearl, its in town. Generally some hotties there in the summer. Its pricey and yeah single women up there are looking for $$$$$$$$$$$$$

if you want a GREAT meal hit the chanticleare (prolly screwwed up eth spelling but its pronounced (shan-ta-claire). Very pricey but lunch in the garden during the summer is one of life great pleasures. If you like wine they haev an excellent cellar. If ya like george Dubya you might want to avoid teh chanticlaire. its where john kerry and his wife had thier wedding celebration. The food is phenominal, one of the top 3 restaurants i've ever been to.

Actually, it's 'Chanticleer' in Nantucket ( everywhere else Chanticlaire ) - but an admirable effort, nonetheless. . . . he must have REALLY liked it. Solid recommendation.
