Oil pressure sender. It's a VDO... Made in Germany That's all it says on it. I broke off the screw that the wire attaches to. I"ve tried several other senders and they all send my gauge in different directions.

Go to an import car part aftermarket place should be no problem. Seen them on older VW's 70-80's Triumphs, MG, Merceedes etc....

Good luck

I've tried just about every marine supply place around here. Never thought about auto parts shops.

It'll come to me in the middle of the night (I keep a notepad on the nighttable).

BMWs use them as well. Make sureits the right pressure range for your guage. I use them on my race car and for the longest time I though i had low oil psi. Turns out they sent me a 0-5 bar instead of a 0-10 so all my reading were half of what they actualy were.

Ah Ha! It says 0-10 bar on the steel fitting! And on the opposite side of the same fitting it says 1.93 I never even looked at the fitting.

Thanks puder!

You can also try www.egauges.com for VDO stuff, I purchased some replacement gauges from them last year.

Go to VDONA.com and look for marine guages then repair (or just work around the website) and they will list actual repair facilities and they have the sending units.I think the place I used was a speedo shop in Calif. There are a couple but I remember the contact person had a German name. They checked out my guages and could find nothing wrong and never charged me.

Waterfoul,

let me know if you can't find one locally. I will send you one over directly from Germany...
