Hydromotive CS comment, pls read
http://www.hydromotive.com/main.html
A friend hooked me up with a set of new 26 P5's
Welded hub.
Called Hydromotive to ask about changing hubs from XR to X, on my dime etc.
Chick on the phone was clueless, kept asking a guy in the back who she would not let me speak with! I did ask. Her line was people only MOVE UP, NOT DOWN!
Anyway I told her I would just continue to use Merc Labs.
Bottom line, best free advice I have ever gotten on props was from Matt and Julie, and Daren, both businesses are real professional, 1st class. One of them will provide me with my new spares, Matt was a mountain of data, in fact his data was why I wanted to try these props. After this post will possibly buy a set of P5X's from him.
I can only hope Hydromotive reads this.
Guess they couldn't smell my money on the phone....
Just FYI, and my personal experience at 4:30 today.

That's too bad. When I dealt with four years ago, they spent almost twenty minutes explaining what I would expect and why.
You should write a letter addressed to the President. I doubt he would want his company represented in that manner.

Strange, I just bought P5x's and they were very helpfull, I talked to the lady first then the guy (sorry I forget the names) Then I placed the order with the lady. My P5's have a square bore that accepts both the XR hub adapter and the smaller hub shaft found on the older drives. You just switch out the adapter to change from one to another

Bryan,
call back and ask for Tom or Gary...
They are helpful but can be kind of arrogant if you begin thinking "out of the box" compared to what he thinks you "should" be running... but overall not bad to talk to...
Matt and Julie are way more helpful, pleasant and CHEAPER.. trust me... you'll save almost a C-note roughly.. per prop... i did on the QIV and O/T... vs buying straight from hydromotive...
