Default Change graphics or leave it?

I am thinking of changing the graphics on my 28 Apache. This is the original paint and as far as I know one of the only 28's painted this way. It took me a while to get used to this paint but I really like the looks of the all white boats. I was thinking of all white with the Apache logo on the side towards the rear, or should I leave it original and stay with the old school look. (which I like also) Another idea I had was to remove the arrow farther foward and leave the two rear ones but change the color scheme. What do you guys think? Thanks.

Change is good. You could always change it back if you don't like it. Try taking the arrow off the front and see how it looks. Good luck Scott

Your thread is what got me thinking about it. How tough is it to sand down to white and if I just took off the front arrow whould I have to repaint it white around the other arrow's?

I think change is good also, unless you are looking for the nastalgic look.

Sanding the paint off was alittle harder then I expected. But the one side of my boat had 5 layers of paint. I started with 220 but that wasn't rough enough. So I had to us 100 and 150 to get close to the white then used the 220. I'm not sure if you would have to spray white over where the arrow is. There is a differance in color in the gelcoat where I took the paint off. I'm not sure if you could sand it out. We're going to paint the whole boat white. Scott

Change is good unless you let Walt Disney throw-up on your boat.

Thanks for the photoshop Too Old. I would like too keep it as original as possible. I am really leaning towards removing the front arrow. Makes the boat look a little bigger also. If I did change it I would go with another Apache theme but have to think of something that no one has done before.

Change it. All white with a smaller logo near the stern would look good.

just what i was thinking too.

use colors that match your interior.
do it with vinyl so you change it if you dont like it.
you can also use reflective vinyl that looks great shimmering sunlight/water off it.
anyone have a good pic of jbk's former cig?
it has the reflective stuff on the side.
one of my favorite graphics. his boat looked fantastic in the water

heres a pic of bull roar. doesnt get any better then this in my opinion............even if it is hot.

You know, the more I look at it the more I love the all white. I think the white with logo has been done so what if I just went all white with just the name Apache on the rear near the rubrail. Only going as far as the vents on the side.
