It's a really depressing time of year. Last winter was BRUTAL! Being the optimist, the daylight hours get longer starting December 22. Thank goodness.

Yeah, this sucks. I wanted to work on my bike, but with the lights on, the bugs are horrible! Too hot outside too.

When I was up in Bar Harbor, ME. on a dismal day sometimes it would be dark by 3:30/3:40. THAT was depressing.

I hate winter. I hate the heat and humidity down here but at this point of my life, I hate winter even more. Screw that shovel snow crap and cleaning off the trucks to go somewhere, then getting buried back in when the town snow plow goes by. I don't miss that at all.

I am ready for daylight saving time again. You can't get chit done when it's dark early :(

LOL now I can show the wife I an not the only grump in the winter. Acording to some we don't have a winter here. Wish I could aford to winter in Florida and play all day. Yea that will keep me going till spring. :rolleyes: :drink:

I know one thing, if I ever move from the Nashville area, I'll be moving to the WEST side of a time zone line. I have friends I boat with in Chattanooga/Cleveland, TN and they get almost a full hour more than I do. I am only about 65 miles west of them (and 80 miles north) and it makes a huge difference..

Does anybody know what kind of petition can do away with time changes? Indiana doesn't change time (or at least PARTS of Indiana don't) and Phoenix doesn't change. I WANT no time changes. DST all year round.

Supposedly it is for the school kids not having to wait for the bus in the dark. I remember waiting in the dark. No biggie.
