Talkoffshore.com will be dark this evening for our usual "Talk and Type Tuesday" show as our listeners perform their civic duties by casting their ballots on election day. Due to the tremendous voter turnout, many of our central and west coast time zone listeners may well still be in lines waiting to vote, while the rest of the country prepares to sit by the TV to watch the returns.

We will be back next week as we all prepare to head to Key West for the World Championships, where we will be broadcasting 4 shows live from the event.

Talkoffshore.com would also like to extend our deepest sympathies to the folks at Summerville Marine, in Summerville, SC, for the loss of Dan Muckenfuss. Dan was a tremendous ambassador of the boating lifestyle, and very involved in the marine trade associations. He was tragically killed in a private plane crash this weekend. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, and all of his friends and staff at the dealership. He will surely be missed!
