If you make it a twin to the Gladiator, be sure to put a single 800 h.p. Zul in it.

I have a '77 I am going to do this winter. I went back and forth on the same subject. I am going to keep all the original stuff in storage, but I am going to update it. I am pricing out a 725hp Turbine (the name will be Smokin). I think the thing will be sick w/ the flames and smoke.

Let me know what and who is doing it.

I think your Gladiator has a paint job that could be well replicated on a smaller scale and look even better than this 20 and the Tiger on top of it. And this looks pretty damn good. Then again you could do nothing to the paint and put that Zul in it and have ONESICK20. Can't wait to see it.

Do it as a twin, and store all the original stuff away.
It would be way to much fun to have onesickmini-me. :D

You have to keep us updated on this project.

Old school - all the way!!!! Maybe use some of the same colors from the Gladiator but do an original (to the boat model year) style paint job? It would "match" to some extent, but still look original unto itself.

I would love the old school but the twin ideas are already forming in my head.

High back bucket seats, center throttles. Bad small block and a shortened bravo. Long a$$ tabs. I could spend way too much on that. I was dying to do all that to my 84 21' Scarab.

I have to say that having my 20' done the same way as my gladiator would be neat.
big motor
same lay cockpit
same paint

Rick,

It's already old school. As cool as that is, it's not as cool as having a twin. That would be really cool.

I set mine back to original, but given the oportunity....MiniMe :D
But be careful with Big AZZ tabs; a) that boat don't need much.
b) Big AZZ tabs on that short of a boat could really bury the nose of that bugger. Just uncle ernies $0.02 worth.

I'd go for a twin of your Gladiator.

The 20 footer that Phil did is incredible. Does anyone know where it went?

....and put at tow ball on the back of the Gladiator's trailer. It would be like father and son going down the road.

I like old school, but in your case a mini Gladiator would be cool.
