Packin, What route do you take to get to 95 and where do you pick it up?

I took 95 down earlier this year and there was a lot of construction around the Ft. Lauderdale area and the drivers really get goofy around there.
I would pay the extra cash and take the Florida Turnpike. Its much better for the nerves.
See you at Gallon's.

The rough road/construction starts in Palm Beach...
It's no problem so long as you don't hit it at any peak time during the week...
Your alternate is to jump over to the turnpike at Jupiter. 95 comes within about 1/4 mile of the pike there, so it's easy to hop across...
Have your toll money handy though.. Our pike is friggin expensive... Lots of toll booths in Miami-Dade..

Re: Heading to Florida
I will definetly be taking the turnpike from FT Pierce down , because about 7 yrs ago I made the mistake of taking 95 to the end . That put me in the middle of Miami , and what a --cking disaster that was. It was like driving in NYC .
Thanks to all for wishing a safe trip............................
