Drives/Engines CAD files
does anyone have cut out pictures like this of the #6 or any other drives?
Weismann or Arneson??
I'm setting up a web page with a bunch of different views of drives.
I am also lookin for CAD blocks of engines and drives to insert into my boat drawings. Mercury does not seem to want to help with CAD files... so I have decided not to go with their packages in the design (for school) If I actually get the files I will put them on my website and share them.
I'm not looking to "steal" and build it myself I just want some decent outside measurements so I can implement it into the drawings.
I know Pat Weismann is on the board and I was wondering if I could get something from his company like transmissions and drivelines
Thanks Ernie

Re: Drives/Engines CAD files
My guess would be that merc doesn't have the drawings. Don't forget that they didn't invent the big block chevy. They are only a customer that is marinizing them. They would have the drives of course. The should have dimensional drawings that that you could use. To get a cut-a-way is something they proably are not willing to release. If you want some pretty nice engine drawings, take a look at the Cummins site. They have everything on line and downloadable in a .pdf format. Gotta protect the info!
