ever try night vision?
 
i'm thinking about buyng night vision... has anyone ever used it?
what's your input?
does it really work?

is binocular the way to or can i get away with mono? i would think bi, for the depth perception

Got a second generation Russian model. Single lens.
It's a bit grainy but you can darn sure see at night with it.

At this price level ($275) it is nothing like the stuff you see in the movies but it does amplify light impressively.

If you are talking about driving a boat at high speeds with it, I say NO.

I use it all the time with my XM rifle(Carr 15 modified with garnede launcher) in Joint Operations. Does that help? :eek: :D

From my past use I found the Gen2 goggle to be fine at speed. A mono Gen1 is good for reference in total darkness and can be bought at a cheap price. This is one of those items in which you usually get what you pay for if you buy from a reputable dealer. Of course the Gen3 goggles can be had, but expect to pay the piper.
