2005 30 Quarter Canopy Skater

Does anybody have pics of the new 30 Skater. I found this on the Web.

The first boat with big power and arnesons isn't done yet. This is obviously a boat yet to be built.

I have heard there is one already built the Bruce Bullock is getting soon. I saw the pics of the plug being built. I thought it would have 300's on her though

Ryan,

Do you know if anyone is looking to get one of these for Stock Class? I would have figured the first one would be built as a Stock Class boat. Just from some past history not all but a few become race boats before they become pleasure boats.

How much is Big Power and when will the first boat be built?

I thought this was an outboard boat? I guess its large enough for inboards?

Re: 2005 30 Quarter Canopy Skater

There are't any ordered for raceboats at this time. A few prospects but no money yet. Pete is VERY serious how he wants to build it as a race boat with the canopy and tunnel escape hatch so that adds alot to the price. The price btween an AMT to a Doug Wright is alot and the step to a Skater is just about as much. I am sure it would be a *****EN piece but it is out of our league, hell what we have is out of our league. Would love to have one though.

Those are my pics of the molds. As I understand it from Skater, the first boat should be done about this time. They would not let me take a picture of the plug... but it was slick... lower than the 32, taller than the 28. Sleek is a good word for it.

Re: 2005 30 Quarter Canopy Skater

Is there such a thing as a low maintainance Bravo boat?

The 28' is far too small for inboards so I guess the 30' is an outboard boat also. Wonder if it will be faster with a set of X's than the 28?

I thought the boat was also to be an outboard boat. I wonder if the fact that Merc is pulling the plug on their HP outboards has anything to do with it??
