back in the mid 80's did Cig ever produce boats that had a daimond plate look layed into the gellcoat of the bilge??

Don't know but why weight down a boat with diamond plate. Looks?

There ain't no diamond plate on a Formula 1.

I had a guy try to tell me that they put a diamond plate pattern in the gellcoat of the bilges....not actual steel but just the pattern layed into the glass. Personally, I have never heard of it.
