I saw this in a lot up in Traverse City Michigan

Is this one of the first or a tunnel style with the same name?

I believe that skater did make a 18, but I've never seen one.

Thank you for the replies now I know :drink:

Any idea of the years produced this boat was in great condition and other than the Fugly factor of the 60's styling it's hard to tell?

Douglas Marine produced the Skater 18' at least through 1982 and probably longer. In later years they were available without the center pod. They were layed up very thin and used foam in place between the sole and hull. If you are interested in the boat, be sure that the sole is solid and no water has gotten into foam. Don't ask how I know!!!
