Road Trip CYA on 87 and 95 South
 

Waxed the rig yesterday in 40* weather and we're leaving first thing in the AM tomorrow, waterheater, bajaniel and me to meet Doc John and cigaretteman & GF in Miami for the KW Poker Run.

24 hour pull to Miami and then it's blower whinnne, salt water and...for a week.

CYA out there on the road and wave if you see this tub go by!

I imagine Long Island sound shouldn't be to bad in the next week...the recipe would be wet suit under snow mobile suit under full body drysuit under survival suit.... that should take care of it for a nice little ride in the 41 Apache!!! :D:D:D

Carefull driving on 95. Keep an eye out in South Carolina and Georgia. Highway patrol likes to run unmarked Tahoes and Camaros there. And keep an eye out for all the idiot drivers in Florida. Have fun in KW.

Here's Deb chaning out the starter in the Formula Saturday. Had it swapped out and running in about thirty minutes.

No KW for us, baby sitter issues. :(

I beg to differ on the Yankee plates. Plenty of Florida plates driving like idiots. Never saw a state where you were guaranteed to see at least one accident when you drive on the highway. The bluehairs just slow everybody down. :)

The wreck Deb and I witnessed a few weeks ago involve both vehicles sporting plates from up north. One was Md, and the other was Pa.

And seeing how I've lived 41 of my 49 years in Florida, I'd say I have a little more experience on Florida highways.

Dont doubt that. But you do have to admit that the whole concept of defensive driving is lost for most drivers in this state. I see rear end accidents just about everyday down here cause people drive too close and dont stop in time.

Coming from another area to this one I can appreciate the situation. Remember, if you throw a frog in boiling water it will jump out. If you slowly raise the temp to a boil while its in the water, it will boil to death. :P
