Yep, other places were offered to stay, thank you all, but as it turned out, it was better I stayed home anyway. Apparently the State doesn't care how close it is to Christmas when they decide that they don't want to continue having a temp in a position that she's been in for 5 months, they would rather wait until they open the position for permanent hire. Nevemind that the job description has been rewritten just so SHE fits it and no internal people do....but I digress.
