Sunshine Key to K.W .... 17min 3-4's = Hellfire
 

Wow what a run......Hellfire (Turbine 46 Skater) was smokin on Thursday's poker run out to K.W.

We ran 115 to 135 on that portion of the poker run. There are few words to explain the feeling of driving a 46 Skater in crystal blue water with the sun shining and your friends around you( Dan, Ralph, Phil,Rob).

Not sure who owned the 45 Cig Maximus but he looked great as we entered the gulftream and can testify when he saw us light the candle and let her run.

All the boats looked fantastic and the people were great! Nortech's put on quite a show at Conch Republic Friday. You Apache guys would have been stunned at the V hardware. Spectres new 32 was on display.

Did any one get any snapshots as we left on Saturday? Threw a little tail for the crowd.

There were three boat that left the sunshine key the same time Hellfire 46 skater, Tom in his 45 Cig Maximus and Me in my 36 Cig Gladiator.

once you guys got under the bridge you guys put it to the wood that skater looked real fine running

I'm glad you guys ran out with us. Those to Cigs looked so sweet flying through the air!!! It was quite a day.

The rest of the crowd was messing around in that tight marina....No Thanks...Lets Rock!!

Looking forward to next year!!

Rob was on the stix I had the wheel for the weekend. It's a lot of boat for one person to handle at speed. I was VERY careful!!! She is simply incredible!!!!!

Hellfire was awesome as usual. :cool:

We got trapped Sunday in the harbor until 3:45pm. Had to get back to Miami before dark. We made it back in 2 hours and 15 minutes running 80mph the entire way. Go Philly, go Richie Zul. :cool:

We made the right move not getting caught in that mess. Twin step....show me a pic of your rig.

John Arruda of Turbine Marine.....The rigging is like NOTHING I have ever seen on a boat before. So complex but perfect.

ohhhhhhhhh yess! I remember now.. Lucky man. I would have mysteriosly pulled my kill switch. Shrugeed my sholders and broke out the cooler. "Well girls.. what would you like to drink :) :)

Took us 1hr exactly to get to gilberts on the way back 4-5's

LOL, yeah, tough weekend. :D

When you guys blew by us about a mile before Gilberts Thursday, they were pumped. I had seen Hellfire before, but they were blown away by the turbines. You guys looked great. :cool:

How was the water ??

We ran the outside all the way back on Monday am. It took about 3.5 hours of running time. It started out ok, then got real rough and had to back down to about 35-40 mph for about 40 miles.. then we were able to let it air out from Long Key all the way up to Miami

Quite an expierience for a inland Lake boater

The water wasn't bad at all Sunday evening. Maybe 1-3's. We cut inside and hammered it to get clean water and speed.

I wish I knew the inside route !!!! My body is just recovering from the pounding we took for about 40 miles. And I was in a 42 foot boat !!! I guess I should learn how to use the damned thingie on my dash. What do you call it... a SPG OR something like that

LOL, it's the best man. Even though I have boated there many times, I still use the GPS anywhere I go down there for added insurance. Buy the chip which details depth, markers, channels, and notes. It's worth it. :cool:
