i was in the third grade we had had tv in the room for about one week some one came in the room to tell us and the tv was turned on and we stayed glued to it the rest of the day

In sixth grade. We were all brought into the auditorium and the announcement was made.
I remember all the military vehicles rumbling down US 27 to Miami during the Cuban missle crisis, we lived about 150 yards from the highway. That was the major North/South highway in 63'.
