All those toys down there, it seemed a shame they hardly got used. We had a direct view of the whole caravan from our balcony at Truman Annex. Actually the yacht sort of blocked our view :D I am curious what Copeland's motor sports is about, do they race any longer and if there is still have a connection with Copeland and the Popeys boat? I must say they sure have beautiful stuff and beautiful women

My almost 3 year old and I were walking through the pits on Thursday a.m. as your guys were setting up, and one of your crew was nice enough to let my little guy sit on one of the pocket bikes so that I could take a picture...Thank You !!!!!!!

:) Sorry about blocking the view, Big Al likes speed and putting on a show. He no longer races but does his Sunday adrenline rushes on Lake Ponchartrain in that Skater. He had a very bad snomobile accident that left him vulnerable to serious neck injuries.
The Popeye boat in KW was not mine, we sold our 40' Skater after the Worlds in Orange Beach last year. We have a new boat being delivered in March & will race next year. (wife & me).

I was sorry to miss you, I was looking forward to meeting Leanne, and asked for her the night of the party. Someone on the yacht said you would be down the next day. I was kidding about the view, we did not spend much time in the room anyway. But we will be back next year, same condo so this time I will be yelling "permission to come aboard :D "
Mr P and I look forward to cheering you both on, he remembers the good ole days.

OMG!! That was you????? They told me someone was looking for me, but Stan and I didn't get down there till Friday nite. We missed the party altogether. I would have definitely welcomed you aboard!!
We will be back full swing next year with our new boat, so I can't wait to meet you!

great pics!!. always like seeing that kind of toy show. :cool: i actually got a chance to chat with Al a bit at one of the bars. i was on the balcony talking shop with a couple of other racers and i noticed someone leaning on the railing behind us that looked familiar. i asked the guy i was talking too if he knew who that was and he said " yea, Al Copeland . . . wanna meet him" so he introduced us and we ended up talking about the Reindl Batboats for a bit. pretty neat guy to talk to.

O.S.O. people are always invited to the party. Especially you E. Next year I will hopefully be on the water and need to "check up" on the paryting.My.. first one there was 1981 and 2004 just seems like a fog. Met old friends I haven't seen in ten years. I kept Mike and Bill Seebold out till 5 a.m. on Friday. Mike wouldn't speak to me until Sunday AFTER the race. Seems from all the threads everyone had a blast. I know we did. I went down commercial and was searched with everything bt the rubber glove. Five hours total from New Orleans. Left on Big Al's G7 at midnight on Sunday. We flew 500+mph at 44000 ft and landed at lakefront in N.O. one hour and thirty one minutes later. Nice to have friends with cool chit!!!!!!! I couldn't pay the fuel bill.

Thanks for the great party Thurs night. There was way too much "Eye Candy " too look at, all those cool toys! Guys, I am talking about the Hardware, not the women. :D Can't harldy wait till next season.

Scott Barnhart runs Al,s Motorsports division, He does a great job especially considering Big Al usually doesn,t make up his mind till the last minute. I have a 2005 36 canopied Eliminator coming in April. It,s got #6,s with Mercury,'s new "secret " blower :cool:
motors.
