Turkey sandwiches

 I hope all of ya,ll.(thats yous guys for some of you north of th Mason Dixon) are enjoying your turkey leftovers. Mine are gone. Wife and I are sitting on couch after initial round of dinner. We are watching The Passion of the Christ for the first time, both actually boo-hooing, when we heard a wierd sound from kitchen. Something like slurp, chomp, scrape and so on. Upon further investigation we find Bacchus ,our now one year old, 186 Lb. Bull Mastiff. He has front paws on counter and has devoured 95% of the fried turkey I so carefully prepared and carved. Needless to say I am Pissed. I spank him( which he thinks is loving him) and put him outside in the pen. At 4 o,clock this morning he is howling to come in. Wife lets him in ,he jumps in bed with me ,muddy feet and all, licking my face. I get up to make coffee ,go in kitchen and here he sits or stands rather. Paws on counter looking for more turkey. I am now up at 6 am sharing this with you as he warms my feet. Anybody got any turkey for just one sandwich with yellow mustard????

Dogs will be dogs. I know, Deb and I have four. Cody and Bella, both German Shepherd mixes, a "Cattledog" and Bernice (pronounced Ber-Nis) the horrible, our three year old deviant Doberman. Smartest dog I've ever had. Her favorite game is steal the remote and hide it under the bed. Anything that is missing, is under the bed. Never chews, just hides. No matter WHERE we hide the remote, that blasted dog can find it and boom, back under the bed.

We have the same diversity, one bull mastiff, one yellow lab, two rots and one snauzer. The snauzer is undergoing chemo for cancer to the tune of about 3 grand. They all have distinct personalities but one thing in common. All jealous. The remote trick would definitly get MY attention. :D I know snauzer is spelled wrong.

Hey Stan

How was that storm this morning? I live right around the corner from you off of Alligator Bayou Road. By 6 am my back patio was 2" deep in ice from the hail. Ill bet that dog was glad he got in the house before it hit!

OMG - quite the set. Cute dog though.

My dog is REALLY good....you can leave a chocolate chip cookie on the coffee table and she doesn't touch it. I know, I've tested her. ;)

Now, the black lab I used to have...ate a whole pound of frozen hamburger, a loaf of bread, some snacks and then continued to sheyitt ALL over the house because he got sick.

I was only gone for 2 hours...never though frozen hamburger would be a draw.

Shoulda prayed harder while at church. ;)
