Thanks to D-hlaw!

Just wanted to make a "public" thank you to Brett Hartley for resolving my issue of getting reimbursed for the damage A-1 boat transport did to my boat when they transported it from the factory up to my house in the Puget sound area.

When I tried to handle it myself, all I got was a run around. I definitely did not want to have my insurance cover it. It was nearly $20K to get it repaired.

I have not had too many times dealing with attorneys but I would have to say it was great to have Brett dealing with these guys to cut out all the BS.

To all of those in Florida needing representation, You have a friend right here on OSO.
For what it is worth, it doesn't get any better!

Thanks Brett :drink:

For some reason, the pics look like negatives here but if you double click on them they look normal. I have never had this before?

I'd expect to hear nothing less about Brett. An OSO certifiable good guy.

This is key, He is a certifiable good guy. Take it for what it is worth or better yet use it to your advantage when you need good honest counsel.

I agree with 2112, Brett is a bulldog and is a hell of a great guy :D

The A-1 Boat Transport that messed up his boat is based out of Austin,TX, not the one in FL. Debbie is the A-1 in FL and runs basically the same way Joy does(Dually's not flatbeds). A-1 in Austin was my secondary until this incident(which is one of a few from what I have found out)....Basically 2112 paid for a full trailer and A-1 thought they could strap a dam Bayliner behind his boat so they could make a few extra bucks and failed to mention this to anyone involved

Glad to see it finally all worked out, still feel like $h!+ though after seeing the pics :(

This is the A-1 in Austin,TX that tore up the Gladiator. I would put this link and a short description of the details in the Bad Business Section....It might save some people alot of headaches:)

This is also another site that just started by the A-1 people that you should be aware of.

You gotta let me show you how to turn that baby!!!!

Re: Thanks to D-hlaw!

Drives out, nose up and less than 70mph?

I am anxious to hear how your new ride turns. If I recall correctly, the yellow boat was side by side and the canopy boat is staggered. I am curious if the lower drive position helps keep you planted. Also, how much help are the Arenson trim tabs?

We need a blow by blow analysis as you dial her in :D:D:D
