You can run on the inside, or the outside. Not very far, maybe ten miles, if that?

We leave the Hyatt which is basically next door to the 10th St. boat ramps, which are just fabulous. We run from the Hyatt across Sarasota Bay and out "New Pass" then head north in the Gulf following Longboat Key. We go about 20 something, maybe 25 and cut back in at Coquina Beach. Then hang a right and go to Mar Vista for lunch and cocktails, about a mile down on the right. Then we head back down Sarasota Bay back to the Hyatt. Round trip is maybe 55 miles or so, possibly 60.

This is just a very casual get together, an excuse to go boating. No helicopters, no entry fees, no videos, just good people getting together to have some fun doing what we all love to do. EVERYONE is welcome except blowbotes.

Last year I think we had around 25 boats. It was a blast and the weather was post card perfect.

Speed2lead has a 30' spectre...about 100mph or so.

The rest cruise 50-60, just a GREAT,GREAT time.

I just got my charts out and I make the run going outside up and inside back around 48 miles or so, Hyatt Basin back to Hyatt Basin.
