Anyone know if this works?
Some good advice that was passed on to me:
WHAT TO DO, IF YOU GET A TRAFFIC TICKET This advice was sent by a retired State Farm agent! This system has been tried and it works in every state. If you get a speeding ticket or went through a red light or whatever the case may be, and you're going to get points on your license. This is a method to ensure that you DO NOT get the points. When you get your fine, send in a check to pay for it. If the fine is $79.00 make the check out for $82.00 or some small amount over the fine. The system will then have to send you back a check for the difference, however here is the trick. DO NOT CASH THE REFUND CHECK! Throw it away! Points are not assessed to your license until all financial transactions are complete. If you do not cash the check, then the transactions are NOT complete. The system has received its money and is satisfied and will no longer bother you. This information comes from an unmentionable computer company that sets up the standard databases used by every state. |

hmmm i don't know. sounds to good to be true

Re: Anyone know if this works?
Ok Troutly, what is your take on this. Sounds too good to be true. My understanding is that once the ticket is turned in everything is set. If you appeal and win it is reversed but not until that happens. In the mean time you are guilty until proven inocent  :D Now large breasts and a tight bod should be worth something. In my old age I am working on the breasts myself. I need the Manzeer, or the Bro. :D

Jayboat, that is an awesome yacht in your avatar. Those lights are around $2,000 apiece with install. If that is a steel hull I bet they are welded in. Are they Zeon or Halogen.

Re: Anyone know if this works?
3 years ago some biotch working as a court clerk was real snotty to me, the night I showed up to fight my ticket. what she did is slammed the door in my face and told me court did not start for 10 more min.
So I got my ticket reduced and they assesed an $85 fine and they told me I could pay it with cash or money order. Three days passed and I stopped by the court building in the afternoon with my usual business suit on carrying my brief case, only the brief case contained $85 dollars of pennies and nickles. when I opened it , it accidently spilled all over her desk and the floor. I then demanded a reciept. she said she could not accept that and I said but the judge said cash or money order, I choose cash. she ended up staying over 1.5 hours late to count the money and give me a reciept. upon leaving I suggested that she start treating people the way she would like to be treated. I hate being screwed with and I will get even, and to make it worse I have alot of free time on my hands!!!! |

Re: Anyone know if this works?
it is easier around here to just call up the pros. attorney and ask to double the fine to have it knocked down to a non-moving violation, works everytime.

Re: Anyone know if this works?
OK, now the big question.
Do they enforce the parking tickets from rented scooters in Key West? I would hate to find I had a warrant for me in FL! :D Gary |
