Looking for a Ford Powerstroke Dually.

I'm in the market for a 1999 or 2000 Ford F-350 crew-cab DRW pickup with Powerstroke diesel. Four-wheel drive is not a necessity. I'd prefer one with high miles. Anyone got one or know of one?

Great choice. Best truck for those years. If you ever get an Ocean Express Catamaran, you will need the 4x4, trust me.

Good question. Can't go wrong with the 7.3. Kicks ass all over the 6.0. The 4 speed auto, as bad as it was with the diesel, is still better than the new "torq****", I mean "Torqshift" 5 speed that is essentially an E4OD with an extra gear.

Given the choice, I'd lookd for the same thing. Good call.

If Crazy is looking for a dually thats a 1999-2000. I feel the Ford is the best truck out there for those years. Sorry for the confusion. If you are looking at a 2005 pickup, I like them all.

Crazyhorse,
I own the 2000 DRW 4x4 Crewcab and love it. I would love to own the 6.0 2005 but I only tow the boat with it and it does a great job towing #18,000 up the mountians. It is currently sitting in a garage in Bonita Beach, FL for the winter.

The former owner of the Apache "WAR PARTY" has a beautiful 99 Ford F-350 DRW CC that he sold when he bought a new 6-liter Powerstroke and bought back after the new truck had huge problems, including having a catastrophic engine failure at 2500 miles.

I have a 97 F350 PSD crew cab dually), a 02 F250 PSD crew cab 4x4, and a 04 PSD crew cab 4x4 dually(with the 6.0) and ALL have been and still are great vehicles. The 6.0 has alot more pep than the 7.3. As far as milege goes the new 6.0 "appears" to be doing slightly better than the 7.3's but not by much. I've had good luck with the 7.3's and hope the 6.0 follows suit. Still the best truck out there IMHO

My buddy is selling his. Its 99 or 2000. It has the 7.3/auto/4x4. Its a supercab. It is abosoluley mint. He owns a body shop, he keeps it buffed and waxed all the time. Its black with grey interior. I think it has around 100k on it. If you are interested, I could get a hold of him and find out what he wants. The truck is beautiful, you wouldnt be disappointed. I know his price will be low, he needs the money.
