Re: American Hotrod
Courtney is it !!!!.. she is such a doll, so much personality.... and Ironically.. she is a car guy (well gal.....)
I had the privelage of meeting her at SEMA where they taped a show. Courtney Hansen grew up in Orono, Minn., where she modeled as a child and developed a passion for writing and entertaining early on. Twelve years later she moved with her family to Florida. When Courtney was 15 she attended an international modeling competition where she took home three awards, and after presenting a mock commercial to a crowd of thousands, was offered a contract in New York with one of the largest theatrical agencies. She turned down the opportunity because her education was a greater priority. She used her bachelor's degree in marketing to go to work as the sole marketing specialist for an international investment firm, but when an opportunity to work on an entertainment career in Miami presented itself, she took it. While in Miami, she worked with the Travel Channel and landed a role as the host of a pilot called Killer Golf. Soon after, she made the move to Los Angeles. Courtney grew up in the world of auto racing. Her father, Jerry Hansen, who once owned Brainerd International Raceway in Minnesota, attained 27 national SCCA titles during his career, making him one of the most successful drivers in history. No wonder Courtney is a car enthusiast. She also works as a spokesperson for Rolls-Royce Motor Car, Limited. so, for a girl... I think she qualifies...... |

My toy money is mostly in boats. 60 mph in 6' waves legally is more fun than 160mph on asphalt getting chased.. Park you Diablo besides this any day, you can keep it. |

Re: American Hotrod
If you ever get to meet Roger Bourget you will know a real builder. His bikes are the Lamborghini of bikes. I spent a week with him when he was buying our Hooters Cat to get into boat racing. His depiction on Biker build off didn't do him justice. His Bikes don't just get Barbed wire welded on and call it a custom. His bikes are for real men. And now he has joined us on the Race circuit.

Re: American Hotrod
I have no toy money in cars. I sold my sunday driver and just have the GMC. 94. 100,000 miles. Paid off long ago.
So I'm totally with you there, GLH. I do have a loan on a boat. I like cars, but I love boats. But I can still appreciate a beautiful one engine ticket getter when I see one. :D |
