Anyone planning on being at the New York boat show in January?

We have gone down before but I do not think so. Last few years it has not been all that great....

Funny, I thought last year has been the best in a while.
Powerplay and Outerlimits were there.
I'll be going... got free tix and its a 30min train ride and get to look at boats.
Of course, I'd prefer to go to FT laud or Mia.

I'm going with the troops,Gotta hit the GOLD RUSH BAR and see the bartenders their worth the trip on the train from CT anytime.

I'll have to see how my schedule is. I work in the city, so I may be able to swing over. Last couple of years, they had it between christmas and new years. That didnt work too well with me. If you only have 1 show in you for the winter, save your time and $$ and go the the AC show. 10 X better IMO. The casinos dont hurt either ;)

What are the dates, BTW?

The New York show gets worse and worse each year, and last years AC show wasn't much better..

I used to think the NYC show was the best. Now there only seems to be 5-6 boats. Last year I finished the show in under an hour. They had all the Outerlimits, which you can't step foot on. They had the Powerplay, which when I looked at it had a dead battery so they couldn't open the hatch. They had the typical Fountains etc.

I thought AC was a much better show. Better turnout for speedboats and a lot nicer crowd.

Anyone know what manufacturers will be there?

I'll go and check it out if the turnout is better or if I have nothing better to do.

The NY boat show is never as good as the show in Atlantic City, but I go to both.

what are the dates for the n.y. show ? The a.c. at one time was great but last year it was"nt that great!
