Well its that time again...my winter project will be to dolly up the old motor bay(wife wants her motors painted)
So far they are getting CMI E-tops.
Seen some nice stuff in the boat mags and I'm looking for some ideas...any good stuff out there in webland?

Yours has that classic muscle look. Nothing wrong with that.

I do understand that Mitch T. paints the billeted air cleaners and valve covers.

pull the vavle covers and air cleaners and how them painted to match the boat or put the boat's name on them, something cool like that, that is all those motors need...

Your boat is way cool, Mark!
Mitcher did a great job on your dash panels, why not carry that over to the flame arrestor and valve covers.
Pop the diamond plate out and have him shoot that too!

BTW, I know you are running the IMCO boxes and 2 inch shorter lowers, do you happen to know what your prop centerline depth is? Or your X dimension?
Thanks,
Dan

Those engines would look a lot nicer with a shinney white bilge. Also, finnish up the edges on the tread plate (aka ''diamond plate'') counter sink the holes and use polished flat socket head cap screws.

Are those neon lights in engine compartment?

Also-tell me about the hatch lifting system you are using. I need to redo mine and that system looks super sturdy

Thanks,

Poorsche

Those orange and purple Zuls (like on Schulte's 'Out of Control' Gun) are the nicest looking motors I've ever seen!!! Love the purple and orange combo. The neon is a nice touch...I've thought of running neon tubes along the trailer too. Think it would look cool at night shining up from under the boat while in tow.
