And here's one for BROWNIE!

Brownie I just wanted to say that it is pleasure to see you on here and here your stories. But please tell more. I have a couple questions about the Nova that I was wondering if you would be so kind as to answer?
1. Who was the designers of the 24 and the 19?
2. Was the 24( hull only )an earlier Donzi model?
3.Why the deep forefoot and flared bow instead of the usual needle nose?
4.What ever happened with the 19 after you sold the company?
5.How many of each model do you think you built?

I have always liked the unique styling of the NOVA with its tall ultra long wing windshield and that flared bow.In my opinion that boat brought offshore performance boats to mainstream America when Wellcraft ran with it.A lot of people would probably disagree with me on the styling, but to me it's an icon.

Thanks

I know the article is a little hard to read because of the resolution but it's worth it .Read it for the first time in twenty years today, pretty interesting. If some one can tell what to do to make these scan and post better I am all ears, not real literate on the puter thing. Thanks.
