Fresh water Flush kits
Does anyone make a Fresh water Flush kit to install between the Bravo1 and the raw water pump? A stainless "T" and all the hose and picece parts.

Mercury does. It is a complete kit less hose (purchase locally) for about $135 per engine.
I opted to get two T-fittings and two 90* hose barbs from Hardin Marine and make my own. I have the parts, but have not installed yet. Took me 4 days to get the feed hoses that go into the water pumps off.

DanB,
Thanks, I found them. As far as NYD, we are still trying to see how that fits in to all the other holiday/work/family plans? I'd love to do it!

Brass will work better. Not as pretty. I installed brass on the cat. Hook up the fitting right before your sea strainer. I have one buddy who used quick disconnects instead of valves.
Has anybody heard of "Salt Away"?

Re: Fresh water Flush kits
express,
Salt Away is a great product that chemically neutralizes the salt. And like Dan said, it works great for flushing the engines AND washing to boat, just spray it on and rinse it off.
Dean,
If you are "building" a flush system, you might want to think about having a distribution block where you only have to hook the hose up one time. Mine is a block of aluminum that has multiple fittings in it. Water from the hose goes in, then there is two ball valves ,one for each engine, and I just open which ever valve I need for the individual engine. Just an idea, it makes it a little easier to flush the engines by yourself.

Re: Fresh water Flush kits
Robert,
Thanks for the advise. I will be hanging out with John Cosker this weekend, and we'll come up with a plan. JC is going to get me some Stainless Marine Ex. Manifolds also. We'll have to get together and go boating now that we've got a bigger boat, one that I can at least chase behind you with!
Happy holidays to you and Demi.

Dean,
John Pompi is the one that installed mine when he was rigging the boat back in 2000, so they know where to get the parts.
Happy Holidays to you and Robin
