I currently have a McClain Custom Trailer out of Texas, built specifically for my boat. Its nice, but I may even purchase a Myco for my boat someday. Top of the line.

I owned a Rocket Trailer before. Ohhh, don't get me started.

South Florida Trailer all the way for me. Hauls my 47 with no problems. never have had to tighten any bolts or replace any parts yet. Jay builds a great product. You can go out and buy a much more expensive trailer but will get nothing more for your money. As far as shopping at the Salvation Army comment from Dave goes,...I didn't know you could shop there? if its anything like my experience with www.SouthFloridaTrailers.com then I guess Ill start shopping there too!! Have had 3 Owens for 42' Fountians and 1 Myco. The Myco is better but for the money the Owens are very good. Bill Mazzoni

Buy a trailer that fits into your budget. I think Allison is the best trailer for the money. If you want the best and money is not an object buy a Myco.

You cannot compare a bolt together trailer from any manufacturer with a welded trailer. The Allison you show is not a customer trailer. It is a standard aluminum trailer with the bunks adjusted to fit the boat. Same with South Florida. MYCO, and many others, build a custom trailer with the bunks welded into place to the specs provided by the manufacturer.

If I am spend $250,000 plus on a boat, I am spending the additional $4,000 for the best possible trailer.
