A buddy of mine has one of the old Baywatch Wave Runners. He used to spend his time sniffing the seat untill I someone pointed out it might have been David Hasslhoffs rig

I am sure there are lots of guys like that Look at the water trap hatches. Why you would put a recessed hatch on the top deak of a boat is beyond me. Here is another picture of a water trap. When the boat was in the water it angled down and held enough water to completely cover the hatch
