This boat was built and maintained by John Pompi of Marine performance of Port Orange FL.His rigging i consider second to none.He rigs some of the baddest boats on the planet!!Check out his website under Marine Performance.This Callan cat goes almost 210 mph in this video.

It sounded like turbines.... but I didn't see the big exhaust stacks.... Is this boat rigged with the Torque V-12s?.... :eek:

turbines in those runs, if you slow the first pass down you can see the exhaust dumps, they only stick up a couple of inches and they are right behind the canopy...

Jeff I think you and me :eek: a few beeeerzzz can put some alcohol injection 0n it and we will inter some drag races. lets do some 60 to 120 blast . takes off so hard it stands on its tail end ,like a wheelie ,trim down :D don't want to POWER over back wards . .Piss of some outboards ,jets too :D :drink: I don't think the prop blades will stay on :(

I measured it only one will fit in it :eek: But the 235 gallons for about a hours ride . I know the motor will save me some weight but the size of the gass tank want let me take our ice chest. I know yall up north don't need things like ice on your beer , but down here in the south even in the winter we ice down our beeeerzzze :D

The Callan boat was here in Sain Cloud, FL in 2003.
It was clocked at 180+ during testing.

We anchored very near the edge of the racecourse. Eveytime Callan went by all you heard was a "WOOOSH". It's amazing how big that boat is and fast it goes. Too bad it was destroyed.

I have been out boating with Callan Marine while they were testing the Tencara cat with the turbines in it and it's really weird in that when the boat is approaching you, you really can't hear the turbines until it's almost right next to you! :D They buzzed me and my oldest daughter @ 175, about 40 ft off our bow! It was really f*$*%*($ cool!

That boat is incredible, and the folks at marine performance are as nice as can be. I saw this boat at MP when it came in from europe in its jolley motors colors and it's amazing. It was definately my favorite boat to watch. Shame what happened in Key West. :(

The new boat that Callan Marine has built, I think will make you forget all about the old Tencara cat! :D The Tencara did well, considering how old it was and how many races were on the hull.
