I think it ran 142 at havasu...I'm here... We ran it for the first time in Havasu yesterday (12/22) with the new owner... With our luck we picked the nastiest day of the year and could only find a small section of the lake to run on because the wind was blowing at 28kt w/ 3ft white caps. At 5400rpm, with a 7000rpm red line, we saw 142mph with a 115 gear ratio running 17x35 merc clevers... We're happy with the numbers, but wish we had better conditions to see what it could really do :D

"Striking paint scheme" ??? Another twist on the same old design...they use over and over on all thier boats...
I've always wondered when they are gonna step up and put something truly unique and custom in the gel for a graphic? Tired of the loops and the fishhook barbs on the end of spears. C'mon Don't confuse the use of color and execution (gorgeous...few do it better) with unigue layout. |

That rigging in the Engine Compartment is absolutely beautiful. Looks like they are going after the cleanliness of the DCB.
I have been running Eliminator Cats at LOTO since 1997, and have owned 4 eliminator cats, never having a problem with any of them. Their boats are built top notch!!!! Especially when you are running a 25', 26', and 28' Cat at the LOTO, where you need a v-bottom boat much bigger to survive!!!! Just my $.02 |

Eliminator has come a long way. There new 38" vee bottom with the canopies is an awesome looking boat. I've seen a couple in person and they are just beautiful. I dont know if I would want to deal with insuring a cat, I may look at the vee instead or a 38' Top Gun. Probably a year old or so.........

This is definitely Eliminator's attempt to compete with some of the upper level cat manufacturers of today. You can tell by the materials and powertrain used, as well as all the extra time spent on this boat that while this boat may say Eliminator on the side, it is definitely more of a one-off custom. I have no idea of the pricing on this boat, but I'm fairly certain that it would be up there with Nor-tech, Skater, and the like of similar size. But, when all is said and done, you would still not have a Nor-tech or a Skater. Nice boat, but for the money, I would buy a Skater or a Nor-Tech if I wanted a cabin EVERY time. My .02 |
