Well, I dont know bout the new F-150s or Dodge. But I love my 250. It tows like a champ. And My Expedition couldnt tow my 28 for beans. I remember the older F-150s were basically the same as the Expeditions.

If anything, they would have to be dogs on fuel. I do like the new 150s. I just dont know if they would be up to the task. Local towng is ok. I guess

What is your real world milage for the 1500 with hemi -vs- 4.7L 4x4's?

I'm trying to decide if I should buy one today (replace my Dakota) but am concerned after all the comments about terrible hemi gas milage. It would be my daily driver, with a 90 mile rt daiy commute. Have found two equiped like I would want at $25k (which I think is a pretty good price, 8-9k off sticker). Need to decide if I'm going to go look at them this afternoon or not.

When I referred to my bad gas mileage I was talking abot the old 5.9. A friend of mine bought one 3 months ago and his wife loves it and is driving it every day now. He said she is averaging 17 MPG and that is some highway and some in town. I thought that was a big increase from the old one's.
