Default Anyone know this 2003 36 Daytona?

http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/1/5/76937815.htm

I've been doing some research on this boat. It's in Wisconsin as a trade from texas. Previously had teague 800's which were taken out and replaced with Arizona 625's (500 efi's to 540's). Previous owner, evidentally is stepping up to 50 ft. Nor-Tech and took 800 motors.

Does anybody know anything differently than what I've been told? Drives ok? Arizona 625's ok? My main concern is where the 500 efi's came from? If they're from a good source, is the Arizona 625 package a solid piece? Any info would be appreciated...

I have a 2001 28 TD Daytona with twin 496 ho's and love it. Need something bigger for LOTO. Will keep 28 for the river. There's just something about the look of the eliminators. Check out the new poker run edition, wow!

i remember seeing that boat out in havasu once for the eliminator regatta... nice boat... i believe an older guy, probably in his late 60's early 70's, owned the boat at that time.

If they are the AZ Speed & Marine 625's ( red ones) then i havent heard anything bad about them. AZ's claim to fame is an intake system and if I recall it's on those motors. I was also told that Eliminator was having a small problem with stress fractures on the 25 model in the front at a sponson joint, this is unverified but I thought you may want to know anyhow.

Harper, my buddy has a 33 Daytona that I've spent a lot of time in....those are awesome in the rough stuff as well. Night and day over the 28's.

Kachina Ken- They are the Arizona 625's but blue.

jdnca1- Yes, my cousin had the 36 with 500's and did some racing (supercat light). I was very impressed with how it took the big stuff at LOTO. I more or less sometimes get my head beat in with the 28 on holidays at LOTO.

Harper,

I don't know a single thing about the boat. I do live in Madison, WI which is about an hour and 1/2 away from Fond du Lac, WI. I have talked to Bob before who would be the dealer selling. I called Eliminator factory at one point for a sales question and he happened to be there answering the phones?? Anyway...he seems like a decent guy and if you need someone to go look at the boat or take more pictures get in touch with me and I can see if I can take a look up there. I've been shopping for a 30 Eliminator (or possibly bigger) as I currently have a 25 and have nothing but great things to say about Eliminator quality.

Let me know if I can help!

Dave
