Shawingggg $$$$$$$ Lot's of cash for a Old/New 38 Bertram

Re: Shawingggg $$$$$$$ Lot's of cash for a Old/New 38 Bertram
I noticed that. It is a beautiful boat and a great piece of history but in my opinion you would have to be off your rocker to pay that for it...or anywhere near that. I can think of a lot of brand new 38' boats I would buy first for around the same price or less. Like a 38 TS TopGun :D To each his own

That boat is featured in this month's Family and Performance Boating mag, nice boat, but he'll probably have some trouble moving it at that price.

YES !!! Cool piece .... no doubt !
But , I'd say it's 100K take it or leave it .... What motors in it ? Maybe a little more depending on the power / drive train ??? Definately cool though !!! Saw it at Smoke last year . |
Re: Shawingggg $$$$$$$ Lot's of cash for a Old/New 38 Bertram
I saw it at Smoke as well - nice piece for sure, but not $285K nice! That's a lot of dinero for a 27 year old hull...

cougar: did you see that boat at smoke on the water? it sure was nice.
i think about 200k to much. but very very cool. |
Re: Shawingggg $$$$$$$ Lot's of cash for a Old/New 38 Bertram
The old Bertram is a hell of a boat. However, I'll have me a brand spankin' new 36' Gladiator with a pair of 750hp engines for $285k. I bet it will run as fast too
