Cleveland Boat show or Toronto Show????

I am looking for some info. on both shows. I was told the Ohio show is much bigger and better than the TO show, but it is a longer drive for me. I am not looking for a new boat but just to look at some new ones. I especially want to see more performance boats than anything Baja, Fountain, etc.....

We've never attended the Toronto boat show, but we attend the Cleveland show every year since we live 45 minutes from downtown Cleveland.

Baja and Fountain both had plenty of nice boats there last year. National Marine of course had the biggest layout of boats in the past and we both know that isn't going to happen this year. I did read on here not too long ago about another company replacing NM but can't recall the name.

Anyway, we go every year and always have a good time. It starts Jan 14 and ends Jan 23. There will be a good group of us heading there Jan 15 from the Mentor/Cleveland area so if you're around let us know.

We'll be at the Cleveland boat show with rastinger. Looking at boats and partying at the round house. Hope to see you there.

Toronto Boat show only has a couple of performance boats. Last year there were 2 Baja's and one Fountain. I would invest the time to drive to another show if you are looking for performance boats.

I understand that the Toronto Show is more oriented to sale & cruiser boats :( rather than power boats. But we'll be @ the show with a fellow member @ his dads booth "Polar Air Boats". Also shopping for a "new" boat for myself looking for something in the 28-30 ft range :D

Before National Marine went under you could expect to see some really nice Cigarettes, Outerlimits, and Fountains.

I think all you will see performance wise this year is Baja, Formula, and I here someone picked up the Fountain line.

I went to the Miami show last year so it will all be a dissapointment after that one.
