I know I am opening a can of worms, but I thought Apache Performance was 36 and under? :confused: It wouldn't be an Apache thread without debate :rolleyes: :D

No debate ...I believe this boat is the only 40' built by Mark McManus....
It was built for Mario Andretti and his friend, who I think is a heart surgeon, hence the name "Heart Racer" . Sure looks like a Bobby Shanblatt built dash! |

Definately worth looking at in my humble opinion. Just don't expect to win any races with it. Heavy boat.
Now I'm not certain anymore if it was Mark or Bobby?? Thinking about it, this may have been the boat that caused some problems between BS and MM...my memory is definately shot :drink: |

Blower motors, heavy boat and XR's that will be a problem. You would be better off with the 1993 36 for sale in the class. here on oso. Bobbys shop redid it and it has 3A's and it's in chicago, it just needs more hp but with the 3A's you have room to add the hp. The 1994 was built by Mark Mcmanus and has been for sale for a long time, off and on for a couple of years. Steve
