Hi Im Bill From Connersville Indiana..I Boat on Brookville,lake cumberlandand and ky Lake.
I own a Nordic 28ft Heat.. this is boat number 3.. started boating on Indian lake in mich in my grandpa's 16 ft alum fishing boat when i was 10 every summer.
I work at my family biz. as a process controls engineer I Write PLC Code setup computers. that work with industrial heat treat equipment. my customers are Delphi, Visteon, Behr, Calsonics, Ford ,GM. I get to travel alot.

My name is Chris. I look more than post, been a little nervous lately with all the "newbie" slamming going on. I've enjoyed the site quite a bit... I'm hooked. Learned a lot and enjoy the characters on this site. Sold my 26 Sleekcraft and am currently boating with my girlfriend in her Baja. Am hoping to buy a Formula 336, Sonic 31, or an AT 28 or 32. Thought I'd have one by now but just went in on a condo in Vail so the bigger boat is being postponed... hopefully not for too long. Happy boating all.

My name is John and I'm pretty new to boating. Bought my first boat, a 25' Laser Fury with a 496HO a few months back. It is really a lake/river boat, but I seem to be getting hooked on the offshore thing. All we ever seem to do is launch our boat in the Pacific and wish it was bigger!

I hope to get into a 30 or 32' twin someday, but it will be a while from now.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who runs or contributes to this site. It is a really good source of info and entertaining at times too.

this site is not about newbie slamming at all bro, but when some heavy chit hits tha fan and all of sudden there are a bunch of newbies with strong opinions, we all assume its some ahole with a hidden agenda. we encourage newbies to post and join in the fun. there are a lot of wonderful sharp people here on oso, but watch that stecz guy he's pretty gay :evilb: but tries to pass as str8

Hi my name is jim I live with my wife Cristal and our baby daughter Eva, along with two Weimaraners and three cats. We're in Naples, FL where I practice Real Estate. I lurk mostly but occasionally post. My folks started us boating when we were young first out in the Delta east of San Francisco (Discovery Bay) then Lake Tahoe in the summers (Incline Village). Through the years my folks went through a shlew of Cobalt Bowriders which were great lake boats. Now that I live on the gulf coast of FL I prefer larger center consoles. I also visit thehulltruth.com and ScreamandfLy.com to pick up the latest outboard gossip. But still, no one knows when the friggin 350hp Verado going to come out!!!!!

OSO has been a great site to frequent. It has just about everything in it.

hey everyone, my name is Mike , love this site since found it in jan. been spending summers on lake Ontario since i was born, thanks to my grandparents having a place in henderson harbor. My wife, Tricia , and I love spending time on the water. this summer we upgraded to a 25 AT and love it.

Well, I'm Josh and I also have a boating problem. Since august 16 2006, I've been boating across the Atlantic pond as a master marine engineer technician and I've logged 687 hours on the 8000hp cruise engines (around 35 litres of fuel per minutes/each) and 48 hours on 25000hp main engines (220 litres of fuel per minutes each). Big bada$$ boat get me ticking even if it's a Canadian Navy one. Gotta love big gas turbines. Even better, I don't have to pay for the fuel. :evilb: :evilb:
When I'm home, I use my little 24' offshore advantage (this one I don't pay for fuel either, Miss VISA is doing it and I pay the misses Afterward. I like Drag racing with a olds cutlass 78, 2 Suzuki GS1150ef. I enjoy 4 wheeling, 4X4, camping in my 71 VW westfalia. I have my little (30' x 25') garage / machine shop to keep me entertained
All my ex now know that mechanic isn't only my trade but also my hobby. Sure enjoy a cold one every now and then. I enjoy the reading and look forward to buy myself a newer Diesel truck to go down south and attend some poker run with you guys. Might not be in the same league as many here but I would enjoy it anyway. As I like to say, I might be slow but woman likes it.

Guilty as charged I am a lurker! My name is Kim I am 46, divorced YEA!!!!! and I have 2 sons who have just graduated from Case and Baldwin Wallace college. I live in Thompson Ohio and most of you probably know my dad Jack Roth from Grumpy Old Men Racing. I have been around racing since I was born, as my dad and George Eisenhart have been involved in racing since they were in high school. I swear those two have raced everything but a camel, but hey dad & Uncle George theirs still time! My dad & George are truely my heros and I am proud to be a Grumpydaughter! :evilb: :drink:

Found this site about a year ago, finally paid for a membership a few months ago. I used to have a PQ. I'm boatless now except for the familly's SeaRay. Would like to get another fast boat but most likely won't buy another PQ. Do most of my boating on Lake Michigan, Macatoilet, and Spring Lake.

Hi everyone, Clay and Sharon here in Virginia. We have 3 kids in college and have owned a lot of different boats over the years. Currently we have a 34 Scarab SS and recently purchased a Cary 50. We can not beleive the information we have found on OSO already about our boat. Look out, we are going to have lots of questions.

Lurked for a long time checking out all the big boats! Todd from Southern California, Laveycraft 26NuEra. Run the ocean around Long Beach and an occasional Catalina run. I'm a firefighter ( hence the boat name "Rekindle"), married, 2 kids. Our second boat. First was a Laveycraft 21, just a bit too small!

Long time lurker here. I like reading the threads and trying to learn something, but I don't post much at all. I live west of Nashville and bought my first boat 2 1/2 years ago. I have a Baja H2X with supercharged 468 BB. The wife and 2 kids like it and I hope to run it another year before taking a step up to a 33-38' V-bottom.

I do detail quite a few boats in the Middle Tennessee area, so I am fortunate to be around some serious hardware from time to time.

Ok so heres the story here. Own a swimwear company in sunny san diego. along with that Im proud to sell and work at one of the hottest west coast boats shops "Ultra". Currently rolling in a 1978 cv23 but have the design set up to pull the trigger this year on a new 27 shadow.
