Yeah, NY weather SUCKS right now. Too cold to be out on the water, not cold enough to hit the slopes.

They're talking rain through mid january. Last year we had snowfall every single day of january. Go figure.

Ok, who won the Civil War? Who has more fresh water and other natural resources than the South. Where are Skaters made? This is just a tip of the "ice burg" Now I spent the last week bombing around the UP in 4ft of snow. Hit 100mph on a regular basis, went 700 miles and had no mechanical problems, and used about 60 gallons of fuel. Now lets see you top that. If I could boat all season I wouldn't because it costs so much. I need the break to recover. I still saw 150 hrs on the boat though. :D

Hey Michael! :p
You're right...it's beautiful outside! Unfortunately, I'm still feeling like s**t so I can't take advantage of this weather. :( Hopefully, I can go out and play this weekend since it will still be around 70! :woohoo:

See ya!

P.S. Have you decided if you're gonna make the Chill Out or not?

Any freakn which way you look at it we're screeeeeewed till April.

Some of the weaklings here might subvert to golf and other worthless and inexpensive pursuits in order to substitute for the bliss of boating....read golf...

But us hardcore northerners are plowing on and only thinking of April when we can finally annoy the rest of the planet with out blower whinnnnnnnn.

Amen.

Actually has been pretty balmy here too lately, but things have sure changed here at LOTO. Right now we are on the edge of a storm that looks pretty bad to the north. Altho barely above freezing, it has been raining for about two days straight, and the water from the lake is over my seawall. If thats the case I hate to think how it is at some folks places. Sure hope it quits soon. But then the temps get into the deep freeze. Wonder if I could afford a place in Florida. Brrrr.

Winter storm watch in effect :) Temps dropping way down tonight thank you very much. -25 celcius at my cabin tonight. Lakes will be hard frozen and ready for some serious speed demon activity this weekend. Nothin like a nice hot coffee and whisky on a freezing cold day.

p.s.Jafo,Nice Pike :) fat bellied biotch I see.
