I have both Hot and Cold on my transom shower, But I have a cruiser

Seaward water heaters seem popular. I have a SS 6-gallon one, and it's worked well for five years. Closed-cooled engine, too...

Here is a site, among others, that has water heaters. The one in the middle of the page (see 6th bullet description)shows an example of one that is used with electric and a coil for heating from the engine. I'm sure if you search the web, you can find one that is only used for heating from the engine and probably will be cheaper. Just as stated above, just need a tank that has a coil in it which will use the engine heat to warm the shower water in the tank. Plumbing it to the engine would be an easy job.

We KEEP TRYING to tell you that "motor heat" water heaters are VERY COMMON and are used on almost all cruisers. Most heaters have both an electric element AND a coolant loop. While you can order a heater with ONLY a coolant loop, you'll probably end up finding it easier to simply buy one with both (and just not use the electric element).
