I didn't think it was THAT bad. Better than previous shows about powerboats but I don't think chine walking is launching sideways off a 6 ft whitecap. I'll bet Reggie and Mike got a chuckle when they said "up to 135mph"

This is for general consumption you'll rarely have a show like that go thru the nitty-gritty like us maniacs would like.

They covered a lot in 30 minutes.

It was obvious that Skip or Neil did not have any opportunity to review the script. My guess is they shot all that in ONE day since Hazelton had the same clothes on throughout.

Hazelton's actual boating experience is apparently limited.

Could you see him in a 40 foot cat with a couple Sterlings under the hatches!

I have been caught up in two shoots like that purely by proximity. One was so long ago it was filmed with Joseph Cotton. They came in, no script, making up the dialogue as they went and were out as fast as they walked in. A real hatchet job. But to your novice it was hot stuff.

It was better than watching shipshape tv.
I did get a chuckle out of the chinewalking from launching sideways off a big wave. And comparing staggered bbc's to outboards?
I don't really care, I'm happy to see/hear nice offshore boats on tv.

Phones down at Cig Racing will probabaly be busy Mon. morn. now that they have lowered prices into the 150k range! :D. Perty typical for a 20min. History channel but got to see some running shots. Waiting for a powerboat version of " PIMP MY RIDE"
