I had the privilege of going through the factory 5 times and I still got to see some things I didn't see while I was there.

I enjoyed it.

Hope I never see this. Those idiots will probably put tvs on the transom and underneath the hull for the fish to watch. Not to mention some chrome wheels with spinners attached to the outdrives and who know what other ghetto items they can screw up a perfectly good boat with.

Just watched it. It was OK. He also said that the paint jobs can run 70K. Would you put a 70K paint job on a boat that only costs 150K?

I liked it for what it was, It was a good look for someone like me who will most likely never get to see the inside of that plant or any other "high end" boat manufacture. O.K so it was a little off on the details but all in all It was a good 30 minute overview of the operation. I would like to see the History channel do a lot more of these and visit any manufacture that would allow it. It may even create a little bit of a challenge for manufactures to step it up a notch with national exposure to a mainstream audience.

Just my .02 but I had to say it.

BTW is it me or did the layup look a bit wet? And I must say I didn't like seeing the host laying the glass.

It wasn't thaaaat bad...What more can you cram into a 1/2 hour on the history channel? It was okay for what it is meant to be, an introduction for the layman.

One though, though.
Which boat was it that they let Ron put together?? I'd stay away from it.

It is next to impossible to impress us OSO'ers with a TV show about boats

We want to drive it.

We want to own it.

For a guy like me, their going to have to show the layup schedule and bill of materials. Otherwise, it's all fluff.

I would like to know all the gossip about Don Aronow and Cigarette history, the under the table cash payments, and the secret construction of hulls because of a no compete clause.

So.....how is a TV show gonna satisfy me?

I'm just glad there is some boating on TV

That show needed to be "at least" an hour long... if not longer! It was ok, since I am on the trailer

My exact words to my wife after it was over, "boy that was pretty lame". I guess its too hard to get into much detail in a half hour show, and anything is better than nothing, just wish there was more to it. I think that Discovery or someone could do a whole series on building a Cig or any boat from start to finish.
