I took a short trip into Chicago yesterday to visit my friends at Grand Sport Center. Grand Sport Center is the new midwest Cigarette dealership. While I was there, I spent some time checking out the new 39 Top Gun that they will have at the Chicago Boat Show. I was very impressed to say the least. Here are some pics.

Love how the steps are integrated into the door for the cabin. Makes it easier to get to the deck and a nice clean look.

Right now I am in the process of rebuilding the transom assemblys. I just got back from trying to buy a length of threaded rod that I need to make a puller to remove the upper gimbal ring pivot pin. No luck on Sunday afternoon in Kankakee and I doubt if Monday morning will be any better. I guess that I`ll just have to order it. As far as the paint goes, I`m going to leave it as is for now. Not that that 39 did`nt give me some ideas. :D

Does anyone know why they took away some of the gauges on the port side and added more on the starboard? I personally think the dash of a T/S Gun is the best looking ever. It's clean looking and has the two most important gauges.

i don't think you can ever have too much info, and some people have passengers that don't know what half that stuff means anyway, like masher44, he can't even tell time off an analog clock much less read gauges and tell ya if there is a problem..... probably better off in front of the driver... :D

Hey Roger......... That's sure one beautiful Cig that Mark's got there. Spoke to Mark yesterday, looks like we'll be spending alot of time with you this year at the boat show.
Hope you'll make the after show party at Dick's resort. A couple big announcements to be made at the party. You'll be impressed. Better get that Cig done real quick, or you'll be soorrrrryyyyy. :(

Actually Bobby I like the old Tigers a lot... When I look down at 60 mph every needle is pointing up if something is out of wack it sticks out right away.

Passenger only has Amps and Gas.

I wondered about the gages also. That is a beautiful boat, those graphics and cockpit are awesome. I think it needs 6s though, 39ft is a good amount for those Bravo drives. Otherwise I would take it off their hands. :D

That Cig is a must see in person! One of the cleanest rigged boats i've seen. They(GSC) have a 42' Tiger comin in also. :cool:

I think that that was addressed in a thread a while back. I understand that it does`nt make any difference in handling but doing it this way allows the exhaust to be routed a little easier and neater.
