First Day Out In Our New To Us T/G
 

We splashed late Sunday morning and ran from FLL to Biscayne Bay, stopped at Montys for lunch then back up to Lauderdale for the slow troll through intercoastal.

All the girls loved the ride!! They really noticed the difference from our '88 Donzi and were having complet fun while running rather than whishing we were at our destination.

Thanks for all the great comments. I am so glad things worked out like they did. I was looking hard to find the right boat, paint, motors, condition, etc. This whole deal came together perfect and I could not be happier. I am really pushing for some road time and do some poker runs and other events around the country.

I will get more pics this coming weekend.

LS jr. I am a trailer boater, the boat (boats) are here at my house. I am using John U Lloyd to launch mainly due to parking. I am a west coast boy and I cant believe to lack of adequate parking and docks at these boat ramps here in Florida.

Anyway, thanks again for the comments and I am really looking forward to meeting up on the water.

Great boat.You should look into the newer style windscreen.I orderded one for my old Topgun.It is approx $800.00 and makes the boat alot more enjoyable.Just a little Topgun advice to one of our new brothers.

I am lucky and still cant believe I have this thing.

Kind of a funny side story. We are remodeling our home and while going through old stuff I dug out a Cigarette jacket I bought when I was about 16. Ya know the old Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am looking thing in blue. I put it on and my girls had a good laugh because it fit soooo good. But it again reminded me of how long I have had the idea(dream) of owning a cigarette. Anything can happen and I do know I am lucky.

Being disciplined enough for a 18 year career, I think luck does not have much to do with it.

BTW Lucky Strike has a Cigarette Jacket like your talking about.... and it still fits him well!!!

Now here's the scoop, his wife couldn't believe how smoooooth the boat rides but wants triple bolsters in back for the girls. Now how cool is that!
