I stopped posting on the Winni site long ago cuz they are brutal over there, if you're not paddling your canoe, you're not welcome - just ask Biggus, (he got slaughtered over there). And I agree, I have been on that lake since I was 10 months old, (when my Dad had a 16' Glastron w/ a 120hp Merc. in it) and since we own a house on the lake and I own a boat that is capable of more than 45 mph., I feel an obligation to be involved. Not to mention the need to echo everyones sentiment that we NEED to be rational about this, you'll get more flies with honey then vinegar. Let's put together a strategy and a plan and go at them on their own level. Dan's accident didn't help this, but let's look at the big picture and make them realize that speed is the least of the problems on that lake!!

Again we are our own worst eneemy. If you guys think that they are not reading this post you are mistaken. This site is a well known site. People from all the lake Winni sites, the Long Lake sites and so on all visit hear for ammo to booste their sapport. You better believe that they are printing out Pantera1's posts and will have it at the meatings to show how irrisponsible that we are. Instead of *****ing about it why don't you organize as has been said by Ron P a very well laid out plan to fight this RATIONALLY. If you think that this will just go away or that you will outrun them good luck. They will catch you eventually and the law will pass. We thought that they would just go away eventually with the noise restructions on Long Lake, so we did nothing about it. Well now we have them.

Jon

Well said Jon....

No offense to him hes an ok guy but the webmaster at www.winnipesaukee.com reads every post before hell put it up ..If you have any kind of a heated discussion he takes it as negative (arguing) whatever .. and wont post it .. It sometimes takes 24 hours before your post shows up
