i think they look cool on his boat because of the overall piant scheme.

Here are our painted drives. I am sorry, but I have no idea what kind of paint was used because it was done by a previous owner.

These pics were taken the same day that the wood was dumped there. It is all stacked in 3 nice, neat rows now! :D Any time you want to be part of the Apache crew, just get to Ocean City and we'll run it. Oops, can we say the "A" word on this thread? :D

Thanks
Yep. Made the contraption myself.
The above picture has no height adj. provisions. Made it for my use. But figured can't stop there, let's make it for any boat with Lathem type steering. Hence.........
the following picture that shows the intermediate mount for various heights. The red ruler is were the oriignal engine stand shaft is when bolted to it.

The large angle plate bolts to the engine stand mount where the 4 'arms??' bolt to. By spining that plate, it allows for 20" of height adjustment to match any boat. The drive mount itself then turns inside the intermediate mount to keep the drive always verticle. Used it on several boats and works great. I can also unbolt the top mount from the angle plate and bolt that to a work bench if desired. Just can't remove the 3 screws that hold the rear drive cover on. :p Kinda 3 units in 1
Takes about 5 seconds to hook up. Hold the mount in location, drop in the 2 steering ram bolts and slip in the 1 rear trim cylinder stud. No nuts needed as the weight of the drive keeps the bolts in place.

2 sons lots of mothers. I never had luck with clear coat. The only time this boat
seen the trailer was going to a poker run out of town.I live on the water and kept
it in the boat hoist most of the time.My baby has a new owner boat less for awhile.
THANKS

It would be nice for the coin you are paying for those #6 drives if they would paint them to one color of your choice, I just dont want black. Jeff
