I did some work for a guy that was a retired F-15 pilot. He made it sound like he had one of the most boring jobs in the world. I suppose that it's a bunch of beaurocratic bs and alot of traning and class work...but still. Any time you can fly supersonic on somebody elses tab is a cool job. After flying commercial for a couple of years he's now in Florida flying with the guard. Guess it wasn't that bad of a job after all.

A lot of the airline pilots started military; got their free flight training; got out to fly for the airlines and the big money; and still fly the fun jets as a weekend warrior.

When you see him go into a flipper turn like that he's pulling all of 6 G's, probably more.
